Lance-leaf Coreopsis boasts numerous cheery, bright yellow, daisy-like flowers on single erect stems. It will bloom continuously starting in May and going through to August. Some years i’ve even had blooms into November! Dead-head spent blooms to extend you bloom-time, or better yet use fresh blooms for arrangements inside you home as well!
Lance-leaf Coreopsis thrives in hot sunny spaces with poor soil and rocky sites, making it a great candidate for rock gardens or a hot dry site you are having trouble growing other things. It can be a shorter lived perennial, but usually self-seeds readily enough to regenerate stock in your garden.
Companion Plants: Yarrow, Butterfly Milkweed, Purple Cone Flower, False Blue Indigo, Prairie Dropseed, Eastern Prickly Pear Cactus
