Late spring to summer you will get lovely distinct flowers ranging from deep - pale blue or purple depending on its placement and growing conditions. Blue Flag Iris is clump forming, making it an easy addition to any garden. This Iris enjoys consistently or frequently wet sites such as water gardens, ditches, wetland or pond edges, etc. Blue Flag Iris is enjoyed for early season nectar from hummingbirds and butterflies.
