Pearly Everlasting has a beautiful blue-grey foliage which is an attraction on its own. It is topped with clustered with white flowers giving a pearl-studded appearance to the plant.

As a host plant for the American Lady Butterfly, you may notice your Pearly Everlasting being eaten and covered in silky webbing. Fear not! Although it makes the plant look a little unhappy, once the American Lady caterpillar cocoons your Pearly Everlasting will re-grow vigorously and you will be rewarded with lush foliage, many blooms, and new Butterflies fluttering about. Pearly Everlasting flowers can be used fresh or dried for cut arrangements.

Larval Host(s): American Lady Butterfly

Companion Plants: Nodding Onion, Lance-leaf Coreopsis, False-Blue Indigo. Black-Eyed Susan, Prairie Smoke, Butterfly Milkweed, Purple Coneflower
